Simon Hughes played professional cricket for Middlesex and Durham, winning nine national titles with Middlesex before retiring to write and broadcast. He has written 10 books on cricket – one of which, A Lot of Hard Yakka, won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award. Working on Channel 4’s ground-breaking cricket coverage he became known as The Analyst for which he won a BAFTA and a Royal Television Society award. He has continued to work in TV and radio, and his podcast The Analyst Inside Cricket, is one of the most popular independent sports shows in the UK.

Simon Mann

Simon Mann is a veteran presenter, reporter and commentator who has worked for BBC Sport for over twenty-five years. His work includes covering England's home Tests and one-day internationals as well as the last seven Cricket World Cups. He was commentating on the incredible 1999 WC semi-final between Australia and South Africa at Lords. As co-host of The Analyst Inside Cricket podcast he and Simon discuss topical issues in the game with a focus on current tournaments and England men's and women's matches.
